A free service for families/whanau who are supporting the recovery of a loved one from mental health issues.  Join others who face similar challenges; to learn and to share experiences, to exchange information & resources; and to learn different strategies in dealing with the needs of our loved one and ourselves.

WHAT TOPIC: Guest speaker Murray Walker SW from WDHB Community Team 2 will talk about Respite & Care Support—How can families/whanau get time out , who qualifies and who pays for it?

WHY: Families/whanau often get burnt out needing a break from their loved one. Tonight is an opportunity to find out about how Respite & Care support may relate to you.

Youth Tutor Wanted in Waitakere

Do you know anybody that would be fantastic working with youth?

A youth guarantee tutor is currently sought to teach 16-18yr olds both the level 3 National Certificate in Early Childcare and the level 4 Out of School Care and Recreation (OSCAR) certificate.

The Shared Vision West Brunch is on this month.

It is attended by individuals who have experienced mental illness, who come together to share their thoughts on mental health services and how these can be further developed in the Waitakere area.
