Coming Up From Toi Ora


  • Fiesta in the Park, Saturday 8th October at Western Park. 10 to 4pm. Ponsonby – Enjoy an outstanding line-up of Bands and musicians, food stalls, Circus performers and other entertainment in celebration of community and promoting wellbeing and mental health awareness and understanding. There will be an information tent to promote services, contact us for more information.
  • Tricia Hall has a solo exhibition at the Toi Ora gallery “interpretations of text” from the 11 October – 11 November. All are welcome to the opening on Tuesday 11th at 5pm.
  • October Gig, Thursday 13th October at The Thirsty Dog, K Rd from 8pm onwards – A celebration of musicians and others from the sector and a great opportunity to enjoy the amazing talent in our midst.

Other events

  •  Toi Ora/CrossRoads stall at the Samoan Market Day in Grey Lynn Village. 22nd September from 4-9pm. A Grey Lynn art incentive during Rugby World Cup.
  • “I for Invisible/I for Inclusion” opening Wednesday 26 October at Artstation Ponsonby. 5pm. Toi Ora group show with a difference.
  • The InterActing Festival 2011 at Corbans Art Estate, 28 – 30 October. Toi Ora will run three workshops daily, and have performance and art exhibited. We will also work in a collaboration with CirQ group ( Disability circus performance)
