Last year’s event in Wellington was a full house that saw service-user academics from across New Zealand, Australia and the UK come together to share ideas.

Service Users in Academia one-day symposium: 28 August 2012

University Challenged: Service Users in Academia

Following on from the successful inaugural event this one-day
symposium will:

  • Profile how different institutions are involving service users in academia (research and education)
  • Present the preliminary results of service user initiated and led research (including the service users’ research priorities study)
  • Support networking between academics, clinicians and service users
