NZQA Peer Support Training in Auckland 2013

The Certificate in Peer Support (Mental Health) Level 4 is an NZQA approved course developed specifically for Peer Support Workers to meet the needs of their role.

Dates:

  • May 15th/16th, 29th/30th
  • June 12th/13th, 26th/27th
  • July 10th/11th, 24th/25th

Days: Wednesdays and Thursdays
Time: 9.30am – 4.00pm
Venue: Mind and Body, 395A Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland

Cost: $1035.00 (incl GST) – with scholarship (see below for details)
$3335.00 (incl GST) – without scholarship

Mind and Body Learning and Development are currently taking applications for scholarships for their Certificate in Peer Support (Mental Health), Level 4.

With scholarship the cost of the Certificate is only $1035.00 (incl GST)

Criteria for receiving a scholarship

To meet the criteria for receiving a scholarship you must:

  • Have made suitable practicum placement arrangements before the start of the course. The practicum component occurs on the job, typically over a six month period
  • Have personal experience of mental illness
  • Have evidence of recovery and strategies for maintaining well-being
  • Have at least level 3 English language and literacy skills
