Free Handyman Services for People over 65

Handyman Fieldworker Service

Do you know someone over 65? Would they like help with a small job that will take less than an hour? Would they like advice about services available?

Encourage them to call the Age Concern office now to organise an appointment with Peter Freestone and he will pop around and attend to the task at no cost (except any parts or supplies required). They do not carry out jobs you would normally contact a tradesman to carry out.

Peter also comes with his toolbox of information to share about what services are available to support over 65s in our community.

Maybe you need help to change your smoke alarm batteries or to turn your mattress over for the new season, hang some heavier drapes for warmth or fix a hinge or washer.

Some previous clients have said “very helpful; prompt and relief knowing help is there / All positive and providing peace of mind / Relief at having small jobs fixed; feeling much safer now.”

So contact Age Concern now 09 279 4331 ext 800 to book a job.
