The Butterfly Diaries will be a tangible, creative, community resource with longevity. Books last forever. This will be a book that parents share with their teenagers, that friends loan to each other for help and that teachers explore with students: A book people will have a relationship with.
Engage Aotearoa is currently running on a volunteer basis. We are seeking up to ten sponsors to cover the costs of writers’ fees, story-tellers’ koha and printing costs to place free copies of The Butterfly Diaries and The Community Resources Directory in public libraries and healthcare-centre waiting rooms across the country.
You will play an important role in making these tangible, practical suicide prevention resources available to the NZ public.
As a Sponsor your organisation’s logo will appear on the Sponsors section of The Butterfly Diaries webpage and the back-cover of the book. Everyone who visits the webpage or picks up a copy of the book, will see your logo and know your organisation is committed to its community.
As a Patron your organisation’s logo will appear on the Patrons section of The Butterfly Diaries webpage, the back-cover of the book and the supporters section of the printed Community Resources Directories. Your organisation will receive a special mention in the acknowledgments section of the book. Your logo will appear on all promotional flyers and posters. Everyone who visits the webpage, picks up a copy of the book or sees promotional material for the project will see your logo and understand your organisation’s support.
