Bipolar Support Group calls for new members

The Bipolar Support Group is open to all people who have a lived experience of Bipolar Disorder/Manic-Depression.

It provides an opportunity to meet people from your community who can relate to your experiences and the chance to bring together the collective wisdom of people who have had similar challenges.

Meeting others with Bipolar/Manic-Depression and sharing tips for recovery, can help you accept that a mood disorder does not define who you are as an individual.

Information relating to the diagnosis and treatment of Bipolar/Manic-Depression is available at the group. There is no cost for the group or for the resources as these are provided by Counties Manukau District Health Board.

This confidential, supportive group is held:

  • When: first Thursday of each month
  • Time: 10 am -12noon
  • Where: Skylight Room at Nathan Homestead, Manurewa

For Further Details Contact: Shelley or Justine at The Cottage, Phone 270-9090
