Free Concert and Music Docos in Devonport 15 December 2012

Devonstock is happening this Saturday, 15th of December, 3pm-7pm at Windsor Reserve.  With the support of Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and the Devonport Community Coordinator, Devonport’s youth forum, Youthink.Devo, have worked hard to bring to you this free community concert with a great line up of local youth bands.

Included are: Exit 420, Between the Lines, Five Mile Town, Josh Leys and Andy Keys, Petra Bullock and Liam Jaques.  This is a no alcohol event.

Following straight on after Devonstock, The Vic is screening two music documentaries at 7:30pm and 8:45pm respectively:

First up is Guitars from the Leafy Suburbs – a locally made film which “follows several of the Devonport’s finest young bands from their humble beginnings as recorded by studio engineer and mentor Rikki Morris, to their heady live concerts and growing success…”  Read more at: http://www.guitarsfromtheleafysuburbs.com/
