Teams of approx 5 friends will have either a couch or something related to the definition of a couch (this could be a lilo, mattress etc) that they will ‘run’ around Orewa with, achieving different ‘tasks’.

An example of a task would be to “take a photo in front of McDonalds with your team all on the couch” the teams are to collect a photo at each task point around the circuit. The teams will race against each back to the Youth centre with their tasks complete.

Prize giving will take place after the contestants are back at the Youth Centre. Prizes include $100 supermarket voucher, Parakai Hot pools family pass, itunes vouchers and more.

There will be a sausage sizzle and the Youth Centre Cafe will also be open for food and drink.

At 6pm, there will be an outdoor movie, using the Youth Centre’s giant inflatable movie screen (weather permitting) if raining they will use the large indoor movie projector in the gymnasium.
